Felicia harding - fortune killers
Myself: Of course Felicia, you know about the project obviously. You were one of 19 women who I originally asked to be apart of this when i started it a year ago. But for the readers and Ariels knowledge, this project is all about shining light on women in the music world. Whether they are the lead singer, or a badass drummer, I want to use this as an opportunity to celebrate THEM and their talent in music. So, thank you for taking the time to chat!
My first question is who were some of your influences musically growing up?
Felicia: I had a lot, but in particular i really loved Bjork, because she is so creative and outside of the box. Sarah Mclachlan, one of the first concerts i had ever saw. I was obsessed with her. Of course, Alanis Morissette.
Myself: My other question was what are some of your favourite parts about performing?
Felicia: Performing, Everything about it. Definitely being able to connect with the crowd, it’s like an energy exchange. When you’re an artist and you are creating your own art, it’s really great to be able to share that. No matter where you are in your life, no matter what is going on, it’s an amazing way to just let it go and be up there and share the energy.
